Popeye: Classics Newspaper Comics Vol. 02 (1989-1992) HC
When we say complete, we mean COMPLETE! Bobby London's take on the
Sailor Man has often been overshadowed by his being fired from the strip
in 1992, ostensibly for presenting a storyline that was an allegory
about abortion. King Features Syndicate pulled the final three weeks of
strips and daily newspapers began running reprints. Story over in
mid-stream. Now, 22 years later, thanks to the kind cooperation of the
good folks at King Features, those three weeks will be included in this
second volume of our series. But wait that's not all! Turns out that
Bobby London produced an additional six weeks of strips beyond the three
that were pulled from syndication!

occasional team-building, brainstorming, or management fad-of-the-day
session. He has entertained us for more than two decades: He's Dilbert.

Get Fuzzy: You Can't Fight Crazy SC
This new Get Fuzzy collection is perfect for fans of the comic strip and a hilarious, if not-so-gentle, introduction for new fans. Get Fuzzy
is cartoonist Darby Conley's wry portrait of single life with pets. At
the center of the mischief is Rob Wilco, a single, mild-mannered ad
executive and the guardian of Bucky and Satchel. Bucky is a
temperamental cat who clearly wears the pants in their eccentric
household, while Satchel is a gentle, sensitive pooch who struggles to
remain neutral, almost guaranteeing he'll wind up on the receiving end
of whatever trouble Bucky has cooked up.

Pearls Before Swine: Breaking Stephan SC
The familiar gang of characters cook up hilarity with their banter on
current events, bicyclists, and the strip's creator, Stephen Pastis.
Some of the action this time around features Rat in his very own movie,
driven by the brilliant plot of Rat kicks Pig, and Croc's pursuit of a
job with the one weapon in his skillset: drinking. Pastis's Breaking Stephan is sure to entertain with its perfect chemistry of commentary, satirical logic, and dark wit.

Art of Modesty Blaise SC
Modesty Blaise, the tough and enigmatic character created by Peter
O'Donnell, made her international debut on May 13, 1963 in a newspaper
strip story illustrated by Jim Holdaway. On Jim Holdaway's sudden death
in 1970 the artwork was taken up by Enric Badia Romero. In 1978 John
Burns drew the strip for a year then Pat Wright for nine months. In May
1980 the fifth artist was introduced, Neville Colvin, who produced over
1500 strips. Colvin retired in 1986 and Romero continued again until the
very last strip in 2001. This marvelous catalogue showcases over 160
original artworks reproduced here in the finest detail. Each individual
scan of the original art shown in this book was carefully taken to
optimise its reproduction on the printed page and to retain the look and
feel of the artist's detailed pen

-------------------------------------------
Salut mister,
